My sister and I had so much fun dining, not to mention, Tinsel & Tine got excellent traffic from my Fogo de Chão Fall Menu post, that when they asked if I’d like to come back to try their summer menu and post again, I said most definitely!
This time I got to celebrate my birthday with my fellow Gemini birthday buddy Bonnie!
Now here’s more info about Fogo’s newest seasonal offerings created just for summer. Standout items at the Market Table, which is available during Weekday Lunch for $15 – refreshing salads such as Watermelon Feta and Heirloom Tomato & Mozzarella, plus a nutrient-dense Chickpea salad. Those delish family-style Brazilian side dishes are also included. If you’re still looking for the “Steak” at lunchtime, you can choose to add a single selection of fire-roasted meat for under $25, or indulge in the Full Churrasco Experience. And summer also brings the return of the Watermelon Fresca mocktail!
“During the summer months in Brazil, friends and family spend a lot of time surrounding a fogo de chão, or campfire,” said Larry Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão. “Our summer menu was carefully crafted to celebrate this tradition by offering guests new options to enjoy alongside premium cuts of meat that are fire-roasted by our expert gaucho chefs.”
To Recap – The new summer menu items at Fogo include:
Heirloom Tomato & Mozzarella – Ripe red and yellow heirloom tomatoes are layered with fresh Buffalo mozzarella and topped with extra virgin olive oil, cracked black pepper and basil.
Chickpea Salad – This protein-rich salad features chickpeas mixed with summer basil, fresh parsley, red onion, and red bell pepper, then is dressed with a house-made lemon Dijon vinaigrette.
Watermelon Feta Salad – Refreshing watermelon is tossed with feta, summer basil, fresh mint and cracked black pepper making this the perfect summertime salad.
Watermelon Fresca (Non-Alcoholic) – This mocktail is back by popular demand! It features fresh watermelon blended with pure cane sugar, lime and mint, and is served over crushed ice.
My favorite those delightfully spongy rolls! |
