My Sundance posts caught the eye of someone who was helping a friend do publicity on an event taking place at #Sundance2020, she asked me if I wanted to attend. I said I would, only the event was taking place the same day I was flying home from Park City. New York based Janine Kalesis is no stranger to the term persistence. 7 years ago when she decided she wanted to segue from Chef to Food Stylist, she first had to perfect the art of door knocking. With her promo cards and self-made, backyard food photo session portfolio, she bombarded every possible lead - food magazines, commercial directors, making cold calls, sending emails etc...
