Atlantic City Cinefest

October 4-6, 2019

I received a late invite to cover this film festival.  It wasn’t on my radar, but I’ll see if I can make it work within my #PhillyCalendar this weekend.  If you’re an Indie Film Fan in the Jersey area, check it out!  If I do go, you’ll of course see me posting highlights on social media (see our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds on the Home and PhillyCalendar pages).

The mission of the Atlantic City Cinefest (formerly the Downbeach Film Festival) is to present a cultural event for residents of and visitors to the communities of Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, Longport, Ocean City and beyond.

The festival promotes new films, as well as filmmakers and actors, all in an effort to celebrate the art form of moviemaking. We are rooted in the celebration of independent and studio film, and the creation of a forum where local and other independent filmmakers can exhibit their work.

ACCenefest also provides novice and aspiring filmmakers, actors, and others interested in a career in the film business, the opportunity to meet and network with industry professionals in an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and mentoring.

The Atlantic City Cinefest is run by the nonprofit 501(c)3 Downbeach Film Festival.

Tickets:
$40 for a Weekend Pass

$25 for a Saturday or Sunday day pass

$5 for a single block of films.
