The Lion King
Tinsel & Tine #MiniMovieReview THE LION KING (Director Jon Favreau) “photo real” they’re not calling this one “live action” This movie was made in multiple ways – First in VR, and then animated, and then live action filmmaking techniques were used. It’s gorgeous! The production value is like “Jungle Book”, but stays closer to the look and feel of the original 1994 Lion King in many ways. Scar looks so much like the animated version down to the thin butt and raggedy ear, but he also looks so much like an actual lion. A Star is Born
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor A STAR IS BORN deserves all the buzz its garnered leading up to it. It’s the first film I’ve seen in 2018 that feels Oscar worthy, other than this small indie I saw called Puzzle, which unfortunately has no buzz. A Quickie: ABOUT LAST NIGHT
It’s Valentine’s Day and once again I’m spending it alone. I’m not bitter, certainly used to it; but I’m also not in the mood to write a really in depth review on a movie about sex and relationships. Even though the relationships throughout About Last Night are rocky at best, but at least both couples are GETT’N SOME! So in short, I’ve never seen the original, About Last Night with Demi Moore and Rob Lowe, but I did find someone who took the time to write a transcript of that version –Drew’s Script-O-Rama (which I thought was funny). I’ve never read the David Mamet play which both movies are based upon.…
