Disney/Pixar TURNING RED PRIZE PACK CONTEST
    Premiere Date: March 11, 2022

    March 3, 2022 /

According to “Turning Red” director Domee Shi, if you set a 13-year-old girl’s coming-of-age story in the early 2000s, it’s pretty much mandatory to include a boy band. “We needed our character Mei to be obsessed with something that her mom would not approve of,” said Shi...

I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY Whitney Houston Biopic to be helmed by Black, Female Director Stella Meghie

    August 9, 2020 /

Filmmaker Stella Meghie (Jean of the Joneses, Everything, Everything , The Weekend, The Photograph ) is shaking up Hollywood. Now, a newly minted Academy member with four films under her belt, this writer-director is taking on an ambitious new project: Whitney Houston’s life story! “It’s so strange to think that the teen girl with ‘I’m Every Woman’ playing over and over in her head, running down the hallway, now gets to direct the movie about Whitney’s life. Sony Pictures picked…

We get some of all that, but it’s a side dish, instead of the main course.

Empire Talk Week 9: Unto the Breach (Fox TV)

    March 5, 2015 /

Quick Recap/Highlights and Around the Web with Empire Note:embedded tweets will not be entirely visible to those receiving Tinsel & Tine via RSS Feed. Only 3 more episodes left of Empire Season 1. I think Twitter is going to miss it most! I couldn’t fit in a post recapping last week’s “The Lyon’s Roar”; but next week is called “Sins of the Father”, boy is that fitting; after that it looks like a two hour season finale, because “Die But Once” and “Who I Am” are both scheduled to air on March 18th. “@KEEPemTLKIN: Porsha and her girls rolled up on Boo Boo Kitty like.. #EmpireFOX pic.twitter.com/aAXp8RYKCv” 😂😂😭😭😂😭😭😂 — S…
