    THE FUTURE OF SPIDER-MAN

    December 26, 2021 /

Kevin Feige confirmed that Disney and Sony aren’t done with the webswinger yet. Even after what felt like the Endgame of Spider-Man films, he still says they have some aces up their sleeves. Although, if you’re not a long time comic book fan, you may have no idea what to expect for the next trilogy of movies...

Contributor Enrico Versace: The ETERNALS VS The AVENGERS

    November 18, 2021 /

Enrico Versace was one of the early applicants on LinkedIn. I liked his writing credentials and the fact that he's a sci-fi, comicbook movie fan, like me. He'll soon conduct his first interview, however, he's being introduced to Tinsel & Tine readers via an analysis on who has the better team The Avengers or The Eternals ...

‘Captain Marvel 2’: ‘Candyman’s Nia DaCosta To Direct Sequel

    August 6, 2020 /

by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor MovieNews  As a big MCU fan this is very exciting to me to see a part of the franchise helmed by a female black director 👏🏽 Whoo hoo! However, the only issue I have is that I really hated Nia DaCosta‘s LITTLE WOODS, it’s depressing in a way that’s just bleak, one of those movies where you feel depleted at the end. Jordan Peele (screenplay) DaCosta (director) CANDYMAN which won’t be out til the fall, looks too scary for me to watch. So, I’m a little worried about a big change in tone for the next Captain Marvel installment. The first one had some great…

    Marvel Studios: BLACK WIDOW POSTPONED

    January 17, 2020 /

It’s serious now when you start messing with my MARVEL!!! 😡😥 #BlackWidow’ Release Pulled Amid Coronavirus Pandemic @MarvelStudios https://t.co/zui08JdrFR via @YahooEnt — Tinsel & Tine (@tinseltine) March 17, 2020 An origin story we’ve been waiting for since “Iron Man 2.”, the legacy of Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).  In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. I wonder how the movie will start, with Clint reminiscing and remembering her. I’ll be curious how they handle a story that’s posthumous. Spider-Man: Far From Home

    July 3, 2019 /

Tinsel & Tine #MiniMovieReview SPIDERMAN: FAR FROM HOME This is the movie we needed to assure ourselves that the MCU can go on despite the end of an era feeling of EndGame. We get to experience the aftershocks of recovering from the snap from the viewpoint of the younger generation, which gives us a fun High School movie wrapped inside a Superhero movie, relying on the humor that comes from teenage awkwardness. These movies get harder and harder to discuss without giving away spoilers. Every time I start down a path, particularly regarding comics long-time Spiderman nemesis Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), I have to veer away because if I talk about…
