Best & Worst Movies of 2020 (Top 10 List)

Unprecedented has been the buzz word for this past year. Countless Memes showing undesirable images with a caption of, If 2020 were a… fill in the blank.  And then with the horror of the Trump Domestic Terrorist attack on our Capitol, on Epiphany no less, we know for sure it’s gonna take a while to clear out 2020 energy in 2021. But I do believe The Great Conjunction is ushering in a new and positive dawn of our society and planet in general; and in so doing, a lot of shake up has to take place first, hence the Pandemic and everything Trump-related and more.

As I pray for those who are sick, have been sick, have lost loved ones and will be losing loved ones, which me and my family experienced with the death of my youngest sister on July 2, 2020.  And, I know money or lack thereof continues to be a hardship for so many without employment since March.  All that being highly acknowledged, I’d like to take a moment to give thanks for the positives that have come out of COVID-19 – Everything Slowed Down; yes this includes the mail, which isn’t great, but I for one needed a change. I had created a schedule of jobs, blogging and social activities that kept my head in a constant whirlwind.  I was never home.  My calendar was forever populated and I didn’t even know how tired I was until it all stopped March 12, 2020.

I also like the fact that people learned to live and work with their families simultaneously, although tricky, I believe it’s a good thing that parents had and in some cases still are, spending so much downtime with their kids (easy for my child-less ass to say).  Also, the closing of so many office environments has given us all a chance to breathe while at work; remove some of the stress of corporate norms; take more breaks during the day; get your wash done during the week; and not have to run for public transportation, stressed and late every morning, leaving the house with a hastily buttered piece of toast in one hand and your bag packed for a full days events in the other. If I never go back to that daily routine, it will be too soon!

I also attended 3 Virtual Film Festivals Blackstar FF | Phila FF | FirstGlance FF and found them so much more enjoyable from the comfort of my house rather than running around the city to different venues, standing in lines and having to force small talk at the events.

The other positive is 2020 couldn’t stop me from still seeing enough
