Philly Food Truck: GRUBAHOLICS
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor In The Spotlight: Jamaican Fare Philadelphia Food Truck – Grubaholics I don’t know why it takes me so long to get back to the Philly Food Truck series. They really are some of my most popular posts! Here’s the first for 2016 featuring GRUBAHOLICS! My first encounter with Grubaholics was at the Philly Cheesesteak Festival (click for post) as they are the home of the Jerk Chicken Cheesesteak! I gave them some love on Instagram and they wrote back, so we started a little dialogue which resulted in me asking them if they’d like to be featured. The “them” I refer to are Thomas Smith…

Philly Food Truck: Prime Stache
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor It’s been a minute since my last Food Truck profile. I don’t have a list of next trucks to feature, nor am I constantly reaching out to the food truck community, I just kinda let it find me, like this time. Try as we might, Surf and Turf Food Truck owner, Adam Browne and I couldn’t find a good time to meet up, so we did just the online interview and he sent me some great pics! I love that Surf and Turf Food Truck is family owned and operated. Isn’t this a great looking family! So here’s Tinsel & Tine’s 5 Food Truck Questions and Adam’s answers: T&T: How long have you been in the food industry? When and Why…

Food Truck: Ditch Witch (Grant Monahan Montauk NY)
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor Tinsel & Tine recently began a series covering Food Trucks. Diane (dianeroka.com) and I continued on from New Haven (See Tasting Tour) because she was invited to Montauk NY for a project to capture the local flavor of the place by drawing portraits, much like a photographer captures a scene. Knowing we were to stay at the East Deck, I decided to try and interview the owners of the famed food truck in Ditch Plains called The Ditch Witch. Grant Monahan Captured by Diane Roka Montauk NY I struck gold! Not only did Grant Monahan (Ditch Witch is a family biz) respond, I caught him…
