“All American” Cocktail Party at Sullivan’s Steakhouse
ORIGINALLY POSTED July 26, 2019 – This was my second invitation to Sullivan’s Steakhouse in King of Prussia to cover one of their Signature Tasting Dinners. They named this one “All American” Cocktail Party because it had that “Mad Men” classic cocktail flavor, but with some new twists perfect for summer. Of course it wouldn’t be a pairing dinner if we didn’t have a fabulous menu designed by Nicholas Deberardinis – Executive Chef. I first rolled out each Course via social media separately to savor each pairing. The Bicycle Chef’s Collingswood Food Swap with Spirit
My friend Denine (aka The Bicycle Chef) started a Food Swap in Collingswood, New Jersey, that’s gaining great momentum. For anyone unfamiliar with a Food Swap it’s for all those foodies out there that are more than just good in the kitchen; in addition, they like to pickle things and make large batches of stuff, it’s for those that like to vacuum seal a glass jar and do some old-fashioned canning. And for those that specialize in sauces and spreads. And most of all, find adorable and handy ways of displaying and presenting such delectables. None of this is me, far too much effort involved. However, Denine invited me to…

Diner en Blanc – Guest Blogger The Bicycle Chef
My friend and fellow blogger Denine Gorniak aka The Bicycle Chef was among the select guests invited to participate in the amazingly chic food event called Diner en Blanc! What is Diner en Blanc? – There are about a dozen or so now. Most take place in Europe and total several hundred members each year. The most important Dîner en Blanc, which was also the starting point of the movement, is the one in Paris. Instigated over 25 years ago with a handful of friends. At the last minute, the location is given to friends and acquaintances who have been patiently waiting to learn the “Dîner en Blanc’s” secret place.…
