New Likes and New Summer Menu: POSITANO COAST

POST UPDATE – WINNER ANNOUNCED!

#WINNERANNOUNCED for the Positano Coast 400 Likes Gift Certificate!Last month I started a contest where the person who brought me the most facebook likes (bringing me to 400) would win a $25 Gift Certificate to Positano Coast Restaurant (2nd & Walnut).

The Winner should be my Aunt Knuckie who sent me 7 new likes, but since that would be some form of nepotism….

The real winner is Rhonda Manson!

Rhonda only brought 1 new like, but the liker (Edsil Austin) was the only one who named the person who brought them to the site.

Thank you to all the new likes that took me from 370, just a short month ago to 406!  You’re too many to name, but I hope you continue to check in with Tinsel & Tine (Reel & Dine)!

Now on to 500!  I should also mention my Twitter followers are up to 417, next contest will include that platform as well as Google+ , Pinterest and as soon as I get my new phone – Samsung Galaxy S5, T&T will be on Instagram too!

===============================================================
All my social media platforms are fun and important to me, I welcome any new follow, pin, circle, etc… Still, I tend to favor Facebook, it’s where I have the most interaction with fellow movie-goers and foodies. To that end, I’m really close to the next milestone of 400 Facebook Likes! What’s really exciting is I have a fabulous, personal favorite, Philly Restaurant as the sponsor of my contest – Positano Coast!

Who ever sends me the most new likes which gets me to the 400 mark, will win a $25 Gift Certificate from POSITANO COAST (by Aldo Lamberti – 212 Walnut Street) Located between Ritz East and Ritz 5. The GC is good for anytime, but in keeping with Tinsel & Tine’s food and film theme – hopefully you’ll use it during Positano’s  Happy Hour before your next movie. Or discuss the movie post-screening while enjoying Positano’s Saturday Late Night Menu.

When we get to the 500th milestone, I’ll get both the screening and the dining hooked up.

Positano Coast is also featuring a new Summer Menu showcasing seasonal ingredients which highlight the bounty of spring and summer:

The newly updated menu includes dishes such as Quinoa Salad with corn, arugula, heirloom tomatoes, baby fava beans, haricot verts, extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar; Risotto al Radicchio with braised radicchio and gorgonzola fritta; Housemade Artichoke Tortelloni stuffed with artichokes and pecorino toscano in a caper & lemon butter sauce; and Wild Striped Bass with diced vegetables and corn chowder.

Roasted Beets with almond puree and mango vinaigrette; Pan Seared Day Boat Diver Scallops with corn & tomato salad, crispy bacon and cilantro puree; Roasted Rack of Lamb with farro & taleggio croquette, natural au jus, mint oil and swiss chard; Beef Tenderloin pan seared with braised radicchio, snow peas, gorgonzola and red wine reduction and more!

So tell your people when they like Tinsel & Tine’s Facebook Page to send me a message and let me know who sent them, and I’ll keep a running tally.

Positano Coast is Zagat Rated as a “Mediterranean Dream” with “addictive” drinks and “excellently prepared” Italian fare.
