A Revlock Review: BEYOND THE REACH
“Beyond the Reach” Exists Within the Realm of Ridiculous By Tinsel & Tine Contributor – Mikhail Revlock We meet Ben (Jeremy Irvine), a stolid young tracker with side-swept hair and squinty eyes, in the thick of a tentative breakup. His girlfriend has grown weary of their staid life in the Mojave Desert. The same day she sets sail for a distant college, Ben receives word of a potential client looking to bag a longhorn sheep. Madec (Michael Douglas) is a silver-haired businessman in a cowboy…

A Revlock Review: RUN ALL NIGHT
Liam Neeson’s Latest Thriller By Tinsel & Tine Blog Contributor Mikhail Revlock I’m probably the wrong person to be reviewing the latest Liam Neeson actioner, having observed Neeson’s ascent to action stardom at a distance and with some skepticism. Not that I need validation from The Movie Man to like or support a movie, but it did prove this movie has cross over appeal, not just with white and black audiences but, male and female. You know who else really liked the movie? Another new Tinsel & Tine Blog Contributor – Terri Heard. I…

Tinsel and Tine would like to introduce a new Blog Contributor – Mikhail Revlock who’s first assignment was to cover the interview with writer/director Justin Simien Justin Simien’s Dear White People (click for trailer) follows the lives of four black students during a racially charged semester at the Harvard-esque Winchester University. Sam White (Tessa Thompson), accustomed to dishing out satirical advice as the host of the titular radio show, attains new found clout when she is elected president of her traditionally black residence hall, Armstrong Parker House. Troy Fairbanks (Brandon P. Bell), the well-liked son of the dean (Dennis Haysbert), struggles to meet the high expectations of his father…
