Synopsis:
Haunted by the death and dreams of her beloved mother in a Montauk surfing accident, 16 year old Beckett and her father, novelist Miles Warner, move to Manhattan and attempt to piece together their shattered life.

Now enrolled at the exclusive Hamilton preparatory school, her psychosis and hallucinations intensify with the dubious suicides of current and past students as does her first love for Tobey Crawford. The discovery that her new school may be run by a coven of beautiful and seductive women who perpetuate their youth by drinking the blood of virgins becomes the ultimate challenge of Beckett and Tobey’s young lives.

INNOCENCE a chilling allegory of the precarious state of an American teenager, explores themes of loss, the human condition and a society torn between purity and narcissism.

The movie stars Sophie Curtis – LeglessCorpse.com got a chance to sit down with the young actress:

LC: Being so young and being the star of a feature film did you feel any pressure going into production?

SC: Yeah I think anyone would. It was different. I have played supporting roles before, so I was just helping move along the story and help the main characters develop their identities. Where in this film the characters were doing that but it was my story. That was really different for me. I had very long hours and I think it being my first film, just the intensity involved and me being nervous kind of added to the things Beckett was feeling. I think that kind of helped me going to that psychological psychosis with everything she was feeling because I was feeling similar feelings being my first film.
