Have you checked out Tinsel & Tine’s Silver Sites?

I’d like to draw your attention away from film and food for a moment and ask that you take notice of Tinsel & Tine’s “Silver Sites” listed at the bottom of my last post on the page (scroll down).

This is where I link to businesses, people, places and sites that are doing good works, are spiritual in nature, connected to Philly, or all of the above, like Synergy by Jasmine Yoga.

I’m going to try my hand (arms, feet, legs torso) at yoga again.  I gave it up for about 6 months because I was feeling everything you’re not supposed to feel – stressed, competitive and uncoordinated.

I recently discovered Jasmine’s site which reads: The classes are not vigorous yoga vinyasa classes and do not have pilates or advanced yoga poses.  The yoga poses are suitable for all body types and fitness levels. This is not hot yoga or heated yoga.

This sounded exactly like what I needed as motivation to give yoga a try again. Plus, my old yoga studio was in Center City,  I used to go to class after work; but I don’t work in the City anymore and only come to town to Reel & Dine. Synergy is starting a beginners class in Chestnut Hill for 6 weeks beginning May 24th.

So if any readers have been wanting to try yoga or get back to it, but felt they weren’t able to keep up in class, I hope you’ll come and join me in a downward dog or two!
