BLACK OWNED MAKER SHOP TRUNC IN NORTHERN LIBERTIES REOPENS
Aversa PR News Philadelphia’s only black-owned, veteran owned and female-owned maker spaces and retail shops TRUNC (929 N. 2nd St), is back open for business and hosting a special fundraiser for The Colored Girls Museum. Hours Fridays to Sundays, from Noon to 5:00pm, with a ten person shopping limit, masks required, ample hand sanitizer on hand and other precautions. The store opened in 2018 and after a full year of sales in 2019, was set to have a record year in 2020 when the global pandemic shut down all retail shops in March. Synopsis: On the hottest day of the year, an unknown virus spreads throughout inner-city Philadelphia. The infected victims, crazed by dehydration, begin attacking other residents of the neighborhood in gruesome ways. When the military is brought in to contain the situation, but realize they can’t come up with a vaccine quickly enough, they fence off the area and let everyone die.
