Tinsel & Tine Highlight’s – One Woman – Two Angels Play By Le Anne Lindsay, Editor On Thursday (Sept 19th) I got a chance to venture out to the Bristol Riverside theater to see AN ACT OF GOD (A New Comedy) by David Javerbaum, starring KIM WAYANS as GOD. The stage play is adapted from Javerbaum’s “The Last Testament: A Memoir By God”, which started as a series of tweets. Although “God” has two angels Archangel Michael (Benjamin Brown) and Archangel Gabriel (Peter DeLaurier) to play off during the piece, it’s essentially a One Person play. And many Bloggers that I started out with had simply closed up shop. Early on, I had dreams of making Tinsel & Tine a business, perhaps PR or an online magazine or felt it would lead to another career in the entertainment industry - none of that happened. Tinsel & Tine Joins Marvel (MCU) Panel at the Franklin Institute By Le Anne Lindsay, Editor As you’ve probably seen in several places on the blog, I became a member of the Philadelphia Film Critics Circle (PFCC) in May of 2019. The Association is still new – 2 years (comparatively the NYFCC started in 1935) and most major cities have a similar film association begun at various times, but for some reason, not Philadelphia; until fellow Philly critics Rich Heimlich and Stephen Silver got together to start one here.
