As a member of The Philadelphia Film Critics Circle, we were asked if we would be willing to head back to the theaters for preview screenings if it was only critics attending. Philadelphia joined Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, LA, Denver, Detroit, Louisville, Dallas/Fort Worth, Memphis and others in solidarity to the protests that had been going on for several days in Minneapolis in response to the heinous murder of George Floyd, a 46 year-old black male who died at the hands of four Minneapolis police officers on Memorial Day.
