Butter Cake Tribble joins Black Tribbles for James Bond: SPECTRE

T&T Once Again Joins an Episode of Spoiled Tribbles: SPECTRE

By Tinsel & Tine Editor Le Anne Lindsay (aka Butter Cake Tribble)

I got to sit in on another post screening podcast with the Black Tribbles.  This time we rehashed the latest and possibly last Daniel Craig Bond flick – SPECTRE

Spectre is the twenty-fourth James Bond film produced by Eon Productions, the 4th with Daniel Craig and the second with director Sam Mendes at the helm, the first being 2012 Skyfall (click for T&T post). Although not quite as sentimental as the previous film, this one too delves into Bond’s past.

Quick T&T: Synopsis: Like the plot of this summer’s Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, where IMF was being dismantled, as the powers that be decided the program was outdated and expensive; we’ve got the same issue with the ’00’ program of MI6 being terminated, as C (Andrew Scott), the head of the Joint Intelligence Service insists that Artificial Intelligence in this digital age is far superior to any agents in the field, which he feels are too free, destructive, costly and unpredictable. And as Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) had to carry out his mission without any agency backing, so does James Bond while coming up against the Global Crime Syndicate – Spectre, headed by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, played with precision Bond villainy by Chistoph Waltz.

The below podcast is our crazy off-the-cuff impressions of  “Spectre”, but REMEMBER, this is called “Spoiled Tribbles” for a reason.  Where Tinsel &Tine is almost always safe to read before seeing a movie, Black Tribbles Spoiled Tribbles podcast gives a lot away and may be better to listen to after you see the movie:

ALSO…

Len ‘Cruze’ Webb aka BatTribble gave me & Tinsel & Tine the best shout out on Tweetin Tuesday!

Just to be included among the amazing writers, podcasts and organizations also featured is fantastic, but to also be called a geek, and for my LL to inspire Superman association is high praise indeed from The Black Tribbles.

But Len, don’t forget it’s Butter CAKE Tribble. Butter Cups are ok, as far as candy goes, but nothing can compare to a NE Philly Danish Bakery Butter Cake!
