During the film industry's Awards Season every city's Film Critics Association nominates and votes on Best of films categories similar to the Oscars. Studios, PR Firms , Producers etc. actually care, they ply us with screeners and swag leading up to the vote, care about what date we hold our vote, and many followed our live announcements on Twitter. Bad Wigs, False Teeth: FOUR GOOD DAYS
I watched this the morning of the Oscars where Glenn Close was up for Best Actress for her role in "Hillbilly Elegy", a movie I was never able to bring myself to watch, and which ironically also earned Close a Razzie. The latest production SOLDIER SONGS premiered in January and runs til May 31, 2021. It stars and is directed by Johnathan McCullough, produced by James Darrah, who teamed up with FreshFly Films in Philadelphia and shot the piece on location at the Birmingham Hill Preserve, site of the American Revolution’s Battle of Brandywine (1777).
