    Food in Film: JEREMIAH TOWER: THE LAST MAGNIFICENT

    by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor The artwork for the poster is what first drew me to this documentary, as most regular readers know, the “Tine” in Tinsel & Tine stands for the tines of a fork, so when I saw the “Jeremiah Tower” poster of the fork giving the middle tine, like a middle finger, it made me laugh!     Only he figured out a smarter way to not only make the storyline more interesting than a traditional Kaiju, he also was able to keep the budget low, as we mainly experience the Monster through media - cellphones, Youtube, TV, so you don’t need to see it stomping around with a crazy amount of CGI to make an impact.
