This year’s West Philly Porchfest took place Saturday, June 4, 2022 – A do-it-yourself music festival featuring free shows on porches all over our West Philadelphia neighborhood.

Updated: 6/5/2022 I’ve lived in West Philly since Porchefest started in 2016. The first year I think I heard music but didn’t realize it was a thing. After that I’d either have a conflict or be too lazy to make the rounds. Last year I got my first COVID vaccine the day before and was down for the count on Porchfest. But this year, I put on a cute sundress and sandals and walked my neighborhood discovering talented folks every few blocks and enjoying the feeling of appreciation and community from the jovial crowds of people. All that was missing was food trucks!
