Watch the Oscars with me on Sunday, February 24, 2013

Once again, I’ll be facebooking and tweeting during the Oscar Red Carpet and Awards show this coming Sunday, February 24th.  Would love to hear from you, so be sure to like and follow!

And then come back to Tinsel & Tine on Monday for my Annual Oscar Round Up! Click HERE for last year’s

I feel good that I’ve seen all the nominated Best Films that I wanted to see. I skipped “Amour” and “Zero Dark Thirty”, I’m sure they are fine films, but far too depressing for my taste.

Because of the Philly connection, I of course am rooting for Silver Linings Playbook, but in terms of which movie I liked best, I don’t have a favorite:

Life of PI–  Exquisitely Beautiful and surprisingly gripping (saw it yesterday and still have to write post).

Argo – Incredible blend of humor and tension.

Lincoln – Very well executed biopic. Daniel Day Lewis inhabited Lincoln! (Christmas got so busy, never got around to writing post).

Beasts of the Southern Wild – Magically Melancholy, wholly original. Quvenzhané Wallis is awe-inspiring! (never expected this movie to get this much attention, saw it a long time ago and just never wrote a post).

Django Unchained – Tarantino delivers on so many levels!

Les Miserable – Perfected vision for a long awaited move from stage to big screen!

Would love to hear opinions on this:
