My other dining experience during the music film festival was Sunday afternoon at Tria (3131 Walnut Street). My sister had given me a gift certificate for Christmas and this was the perfect time to make use of it. This spot used to be called Biba, same owner, Jon Myerow who has Tria cafes in Rittenhouse Square and Washington Square West. New Philly Wine Bar – BIBA
POST UPDATE! It seems this Biba post gets a good number of hits, so I thought I’d update it now that I’ve actually gotten to patronize this new establishment. My brother-in-law, Philippe is French, lived in France his whole life until he married my sister and they moved to New York City (Tribeca). Montpelier Wine Festival
The highlight of the weekend was the Montpelier Wine Festival, my real incentive for driving 286.79 miles. Well, that and seeing my sister, of course, but everyone knows wine strengthens the bonds of sisterly affection. Note my festive Wine Fest attire (see pics)
