The Black Male Body: Dead on Arrival (Fruitvale Station & Trayvon Martin)

    July 15, 2013 /

by Christopher “Flood the Drummer” Norris With Zimmerman found not guilty, and Director Ryan Coogler recapping Oscar Grant’s last days on the big screen, the reoccurring injustices to the Black Male Body are painfully evident. Philly Food Truck: FARM TRUCK

    May 5, 2013 /

And with lower over head, there’s more time to talk to their customers! At a recent XPN Key Studios Session (Lenfest Plaza) I got a chance to talk to 3 great food truck owners.  Later, I sent each an email asking if they wanted to participate in a new series on Tinsel & Tine profiling Food Trucks.  My first response was from FARM TRUCK. Farm Truck is run by Kris Pepper & Eliot Coven, look at these guys – if they serve 300…

Wanted: A Man! To Be A Blog Contributor That Is

    March 24, 2013 /

It's mutually beneficial in that it promotes blog traffic, still, I'm very picky when it comes to doing this. I don't want Tinsel & Tine to become too commercial, especially since I don't get paid to post these "Guest Posts"...

Diner en Blanc – Guest Blogger The Bicycle Chef

    September 9, 2012 /

My friend and fellow blogger Denine Gorniak aka The Bicycle Chef was among the select guests invited to participate in the amazingly chic food event called Diner en Blanc! What is Diner en Blanc? – There are about a dozen or so now. Most take place in Europe and total several hundred members each year. The most important Dîner en Blanc, which was also the starting point of the movement, is the one in Paris. Instigated over 25 years ago with a handful of friends. At the last minute, the location is given to friends and acquaintances who have been patiently waiting to learn the “Dîner en Blanc’s” secret place.…
