Commentary – Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader

… I also learned I’m not alone in confusing C.S. Lewis with Lewis Carroll . Answer.com provided this: Lewis Carroll wrote “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, “Through the Looking Glass”, and some other delightful tales of none sense. Lewis was a “Christian” novelist who used figures from various European mythologies to promote his beliefs. Lewis Carroll lived in the 1800’s while C. S. Lewis lived in the 20th century. If you believe in reincarnation, they could be the same person as Lewis Carroll (Dodgson) died in January 1898…

The Final Concert Martin Scorsese: THE LAST WALTZ

Thursday began PFS’s free outdoor music/film screening series in Northern Liberties at Piazza at Schmidts: 5/27 – The Last Waltz 6/24 – Almost Famous 7/15 – Shine a Light 8/19 – The Song Remains The Same 9/16 – Stop Making Sense The heavenly sitting out in the evening weather we all enjoyed the two nights prior, couldn’t last just one more night, instead it threaten big storms and got really cold; which I think deterred a lot of people from coming. OCAB is a BYO establishment, and have graciously invited PFS members…
