Whole Foods Celebrates July Pies / Tinsel & Tine Celebrates Pie Movies
I make mention of cake a lot on Tinsel & Tine. In fact, if I had done my review of White House Down (which I didn’t do cause the movie was ridiculous, and Jamie Foxx & Channing Tatum have much better chemistry off camera than on) but if I had, I would have highlighted the scene where Walker (James Woods) enjoys a slice of cake right in the middle of taking 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue hostage. Philly Dining: MAGPIE
Magpie is an artisan pie shop that opened this past August at 1622 South Street. This area of South Street has really gentrified, I’ve been dying to also visit The Cambridge , Pumpkin, and Rex 1516 . Holly Owner (former Graphic Designer) Holly Ricciardi says she decided to open Magpie in this city because we need it. “I love Philly,” says Ricciardi. “It’s wonderful. It’s a big foodie town.
