FIFTY SHADES OF GREY Book to Movie Comparison
Satiated: Fifty Shades of Grey & Fifty Shades Darker By Le Anne Lindsay, Editor POST UPDATE: 2.11.2017 I didn’t read all three of E.L. James Fifty Shades of Grey novels – I listened to them. These books on tape were the highlight of my day while working for a mortgage company doing tedious, monotonous, brain numbing data entry. No sooner did I finish Fifty Shades, I ordered up Fifty Shades Darker, followed by Fifty Shades Freed. It was a period of time when I needed a heavy dose of escapism and obviously, I wasn’t alone! If you were one of the millions of women around the world who indulged in…

Wish I had loved it: WISH I WAS HERE
All of these themes are great to explore in an Indie-ish/dram-edy, and it is an enjoyable movie, the issue being it's overly earnest and heavy handed in its sentimentality. Bull Rider and Miss Man: DALLAS BUYERS CLUB
Every year I make a point of seeing all the up for awards season movies; some years I’m more successful than others. Still haven’t seen a few flicks that I’d like to fit in before the Golden Globes on Sunday, January 12th (be sure to follow Tinsel & Tine on facebook, twitter or pinterest to enjoy the red carpet and telecast with me!). One movie I saw kinda late in the game is Dallas Buyers Club. Going in I knew Matthew McConaughey lost 50lbs to play the role and that it dealt with AIDS, but other than that, knew little else, which I find is the best way to…

12 Pubs: THE WORLD’S END (Let’s Boo Boo)
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor There are so many themes which should be explored in this post: lost youth, failure, the nature of the human race and the bonds of friendship. But I’m spent. I’ve written and edited a lot this week and I’m really trying to focus on getting appropriate sponsors to advertise on the site! Check out Tinsel & Tine’s Rate Sheet and Google Analytics, if you are or know someone looking to get great exposure on a quality blog, please pass the links along 🙂 Just think of it as my ticket to Tribeca & Sundance in 2014! The World’s End reunites Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and…
