    Tinsel & Tine’s Look at WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT By Editor, Le Anne Lindsay Leave it to Tina Fey to develop a movie with an acronym of “WTF”, you know cast and crew had fun with that double meaning straight through post-production.  Of course, trying to use the title of the book by Kim Barker, which the screenplay is based upon – “The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan,” would have been a bit of a mouthful for a movie.     Writer/Director Alex Kurtzman is known for writing high-tech, extraterrestrial, action flicks like Transformers, Star Trek, Cowboys and Aliens and TV shows like Fringe and Alias, so a family drama like his latest movie People Like Us, is quite a departure. But it’s the fact that this story was inspired by Kurtzman and writing partner Roberto Orci’s own life experiences with long lost siblings, that keeps them from being out of their depth.
