OK Cupid Philadelphia Dining
Zama & Grand Caffe L’Aquila First Stops on my Wining & Dining Dating Tour of Philly By Le Anne Lindsay, Editor So regular readers know I decided to set up an OK Cupid profile to make it easier for Trekkie’s to upload their info to enter T&T’s be my Trekkie Guide Competition. I was going to take it down after the contest, but decided instead to change it to this: I’ve never been spoiled. I’ve always taken care of myself on every level. I’ve only been in relationships and on dates where I’m pulling my own weight financially. I’d like to know what it’s like to be wined and dined,…

Win a 3 Day Pass to STAR TREK: MISSION NEW YORK Labor Day Weekend 2016
Post Update 9/8/2016 POST UPDATE 8/29/2016 Well, I have to say I’m both very disappointed and perhaps if truthful, a little relieved that only one person entered my “Be My Trekkie Guide” Contest . I say a little relieved because it was going to be an undertaking to coordinate with the winner, figure out accommodations, didn’t want to buy my bus ticket too early in case things didn’t work out, but I also didn’t want to be a$$ out without a tix for the holiday weekend if it did, and other logistics etc… At any rate, the one entry was a woman. Philly Spotlight: SEX WITH STRANGERS Review
Writers in the 21st Century – SEX WITH STRANGERS By Tinsel & Tine Editor, Le Anne Lindsay I got a chance to see Laura Eason’s play Sex with Strangers directed by David Saint, at the Philadelphia Theater Company (running April 8 – May 8th) and felt immediately taken with the comfy/cozy set depicting a writer’s retreat on a snowy night. Suddenly Schumer: TRAINWRECK
T&T’s Look at Trainwreck Starring & Written by Comedian Amy Schumer By Tinsel & Tine Editor, Le Anne Lindsay About 6 months ago I heard my sister cracking up and figured she was watching Comedy Central – which when the day that Comcast is finally forced to allow us the ability to pick and choose channels, CC will be one of her 10, although, without Jon Stewart on the Daily Show, it will no longer be her top choice. So anyway, I went to see what was so funny and it was an Amy Schumer standup special “Mostly Sex Stuff” (2012), but I didn’t know that at the time cause…

Bistro Romano
I’ve know about Bistro Romano (120 Lombard Street) for a long time, because I’ve always said one day I’d go to experience the corny mystery dinner theater –“Crime of Your Life” is playing now. In our youth (early 20’s) my sister LeVonne and I used to enjoy going to one in Lahaska, back when we ate, slept and breathed Community Theater. However, reliving my penchant for mediocre theatrics was not my intention for choosing Bistro Romano, rather several restaurant sites named it as one of the 10 most romantic dining atmosphere’s in Philadelphia. And that it is, a beautifully historic building (click HERE to read about the restaurant’s history) where…
