THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor In The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Walter (Ben Stiller) is an exceedingly regular kinda guy, with 15 years at Life Magazine, working with photo negatives in a dark archival room, along side a nice, but overweight, equally dorky guy (Adrian Martinez). Like most of us who are still looking for love in our late 30’s and 40’s, we find ourselves spending a lot of time with siblings and our parents, and in my case a 70 year-old aunt. In Walter’s case a sister (Kathryn Hahn) still holding on to low level acting aspirations and a mother (Shirley MacLaine) who needs help moving into a…

Serving up Mr. Darcy : AUSTENLAND
Then we get to meet the men. All hired actors, paid to be players in these women's fantasy of courtship and hot elegance. If you've ever been to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire you get the picture. There's of course a not as good looking version of Colin Firth (J.J. Chris Norris Blog Contributor: Is Almost 2 Hours of “2 Guns” 2 Much?
Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg star in “2 Guns,” a NEW Action/Comedy/Thriller Directed by Baltasar Kormakur By Christopher “Flood the Drummer®” Norris When attempting to write my review of Icelandic Director Baltasar Kormakur’s new Action/Comedy “2 Guns” I drew a blank. I thought at first it was writer’s block. I soon realized I was having one of those “it’s not me it’s you” moments. Predictable at best, forgettable at worst, I wasn’t even aware that “2 Guns” was a comedy until I looked at IMDB.com. Imagine my surprise when I learned that the almost two hour film was suppose to make me laugh; I thought it was an advertorial for…
