    November 14, 2013 /

POST UPDATE: TINSEL & TINE BLACK NATIVITY REVIEW BLACK NATIVITY In a contemporary adaptation of Langston Hughes’ celebrated play, the holiday musical drama BLACK NATIVITY follows Langston (Jacob Latimore), a street-wise teen from Baltimore raised by a single mother, as he journeys to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives Reverend Cornell and Aretha Cobbs (Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett). Unwilling to live by the imposing Reverend Cobbs’ rules, a frustrated Langston is determined to return home to his mother, Naima (Jennifer Hudson). Feast Fit for a Dwarf – The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

    December 15, 2012 /

Yes, I have seen and took pleasure in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy. However, no, haven’t had a chance to watch any of the 3 again since seeing them in the theater. Holiday Treat: Rise of the Guardians

    November 26, 2012 /

This season even goes so far as to have Snow White and Sir Lancelot be old friends and Mulan is quite familiar with Rumpelstiltskin.  What I don’t like about “Once” is simple – it’s poorly written.  The plots never really grab you or make very good use of these fabled, beloved heroes, heroines, villains and creatures. Going into Rise of the Guardians I expected to feel pretty much the same, as this story brings together Santa Claus/North (Alec Baldwin), The Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher), The Sandman…
