Not only did it keep you guessing; but the gritty, questionable protagonist, played with amazing truth by Amy Ryan, gave the movie remarkable originality. The Town brought heart to the heist movie franchise. With super great chase scenes and that authentic Boston flavor. Commentary – The Town
Someone commented I sounded angry in my last post. Didn’t mean to come across that way, was more of an observation and an honest admission of feeling just a tad bit usurped; although I was never in anyway promised sole blogging contribution to PFS site. At any rate, my latest post of Ben Affleck’s new flick The Town is up – For me, I’ve always questioned Affleck’s appeal as a leading man. Yes, back in 1997, (OMG was it really that long ago?) I was swept up in the Good Will Hunting frenzy and was happy for these supposed upstarts success. But after that, I really didn’t care for Affleck…
