Philadelphia Zoo Presents Annual Boo at the Zoo

October 16-17, 23-24 and 29-31, 2021  Philadelphia Zoo announces the return of the annual Halloween celebration Boo at the Zoo – presented by Chase. This annual fall favorite for families and kids of all ages will take over Philadelphia Zoo this coming October for three weekends in a row.

Enjoy an open-air Halloween celebration that features fall plants and foliage, spooky kid-friendly decorations, not-scary extinction graveyard, photo opportunities, and special treats. Come dressed in your favorite costume and get ready to enjoy a not-so-spooky safari at America’s first Zoos right here in Philadelphia.

Boo at the Zoo is a wonderful event for the entire family,” says Philadelphia Zoo’s Chief Marketing and Experience Officer Amy Shearer. “Fall is an exciting time to visit the Zoo — the animals are active, the temperatures are beautiful—add in three outstanding weekends of Halloween celebrations – and it’s the perfect time to visit. We are thrilled to share an extra treat this year. BIG TIME has been so well-received, from kids and parents alike, so we have extended the exhibit through October 31st. If you haven’t checked BIG TIME out yet, now you can, before they go extinct again.”

Timed reservations are on sale NOW for Boo at the Zoo, which is included with the price of admission. Zoo admission is $24.00 for adults (ages 12 and up), $19.00 for children (2 to 11), and free for children under two.
