The Bicycle Chef’s Collingswood Food Swap with Spirit
My friend Denine (aka The Bicycle Chef) started a Food Swap in Collingswood, New Jersey, that’s gaining great momentum. For anyone unfamiliar with a Food Swap it’s for all those foodies out there that are more than just good in the kitchen; in addition, they like to pickle things and make large batches of stuff, it’s for those that like to vacuum seal a glass jar and do some old-fashioned canning. And for those that specialize in sauces and spreads. And most of all, find adorable and handy ways of displaying and presenting such delectables. None of this is me, far too much effort involved. The Prince Music Theater (15th & Chestnut) presents Tony Award-winning director, Peter Brook’s production of The Suit running February 26 thru March 8, 2014. When I did a Wiki on Brook, I was blown away by this man’s prolific career in the theater. He has practically done a production a year, spanning 1950 to 2014! The event was held Wed 2/19 at The Marriott Hotel at 12th & Market Sts. I’m glad I got the opportunity to market this event as there are so many restaurants in Philly I know nothing about, many of which participated in Philly Cooks; this way, I got a chance to at least get a glimpse into their specialties and restaurant backgrounds. GM Ryan Fenton, Pennsylvania 6 For instance Pennsylvania 6, takes it’s name from the oldest telephone…

Magic in the Wrong Hands: WINTER’S TALE
If there are two things I love more than film and food, it’s magic and romance. There is a part of me that truly believes when I finally take the time to commit to it, I have a book inside me to rival the stories of King Arthur and Camelot, Star Wars, Romeo and Juliet, Gone with the Wind, and Harry Potter. A story with the perfect blend of symbolic spirituality and philosophical universalism, a story that brings alive the most alluring star crossed lovers who find each other throughout time and space. A messages that touches the most cynical of hearts and is just damn good fun to…
