Empire Talk Week 4: False Imposition (FoxTV)
Here we are 4th week of Empire and I thought this was going to be the first week I couldn’t watch at 9pm, cause I had a screening I couldn’t miss, but then lucky for me they changed the screening time from 7:30pm to 6pm, so I was home with 15 minutes to spare – just enough time to make myself a cup of hot cocoa with brandy and turn on Cookie and them! 7 Highlights (Recap) from Episode 4 of EMPIRE “False Imposition” Directed by Rosemary Rodriguez 1. Tianna (Serayah) knows what’s up! Despite the way Hakeem feels about his mother, Tianna understands Cookie knows her stuff, so she…

A Revlock Interview: Kevin MacDonald – BLACK SEA
Interview with Director Kevin MacDonald for Latest Movie “Black Sea” By Tinsel & Tine Blog Contributor – MIKHAIL REVLOCK Kevin MacDonald is nothing if not ambidextrous. With almost metronomic regularity, the Scottish director alternates between shooting fiction films and documentaries. Though he might not be a household name in the states—he is quick to confess that he has yet to produce a “hit”—MacDonald does not lack in prestigious accolades. Pretty soon after joining I downloaded 50 Shades, how could I resist? And then immediately had to listen to 50 Shades Darker and 50 Shades Freed. Which just should have been entitled 50 Shades continued and continued some more; because really, it’s all just one long book. But never tediously long. No, quite the contrary, to my horror, I too fell in love with these simple characters and didn’t want to let them go. For me, the books take me…

This week Empire was directed by Sanaa Hamri and gave us three guest appearances: Gladys Knight sung at Bunkie’s funeral in Philadelphia. Cuba Gooding, Jr. as Puma, a former songwriter turned rancher, who’s always held a soft spot for Cookie (Taraiji P. Henson). And Naomi Campbell as Camilla the Cougar, who we find out has been sleeping with young Hakeem (Bryshere Gray). (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’)); Post by Lauren DeLisa. 7 Highlights (Recap) from Episode 3 of EMPIRE “The Devil Quotes Scripture” 1.
