I hadn’t until last week when I got invited to a Media Event for a restaurant in Old City Philadelphia called Ariana Afghan Cuisine (134 Chestnut Street, cross st. closer to 2nd than Front), it’s run by female proprietor, Beheshta Hashmi, and believe it or not, it’s been there for 19 years!
