I’ve followed this site for a while, but never met the editor behind this extensive Things to Do in Philly resource site. Thanks Jeff, for being a wonderful host. Connor’s Corner: HOW TO BE SINGLE
IT’S MUCH BETTER THAN YOU’D THINK HOW TO BE SINGLE By Tinsel & Tine Contributor Connor Bartholomew When I saw the first trailer for Christian Ditter’s How to Be Single I was skeptical. As someone who is single in her twenties, I’ve pretty much heard it all: the You Just Haven’t Met The Right Persons, the pitying glances, the acknowledging nods, the I’m Sure You’ll Meet Someone Soons, the Can I Make You An Online Dating Accounts. In a Marriage: 45 YEARS
A Highlight of the British Dramatic Film – 45 Years By Tinsel & Tine Editor, Le Anne Lindsay I wanna change my prediction on my Oscar ballot. At the end of my 73rd Golden Globes post, I included links to ballots for the upcoming Oscars – one based on Who I Want to Win the Academy Award and one based on Who I Think Will Win. Not only is her performance in this film…

A Revlock Review: THE REVENANT
Visceral Approach to Filmmaking: The Revenant By Tinsel & Tine Contributor Mikhail Revlock The plot of THE REVENANT does not benefit from summarization. It’s 1823. A band of trappers and hunters are wandering about the Louisiana Purchase when they get ambushed by a tribe of Arikara Indians. Half of them survive. Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is among the survivors. He’s a quiet man, visibly haunted. He’s one of the more experienced members of the party. Hawk (Forrest Goodluck), his half-breed son, is never far from his side. John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy) sees them conferring in Pawnee and assumes they were involved in the attack. Glass gets mauled by a bear.…
