Want Men Want – Spotlight
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor #MiniMovieReview WHAT MEN WANT (dir Adam Shankman) – Taraji and company deliver a solid rom-com with a lot of energy and heart. Nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable. The wedding scene is hilarious and who knew Erykah Badu was a comedian? But mostly, I fell in love with her love interest the sweetly sexy Aldis Hodge. T&T the Large Association of Movie Blogs (aka the LAMb) rating: 3.5 outta 5 Congrats Taraji P. Henson on your Hollywood star! Much-deserved.

Tinsel & Tine’s RECAP of the Hollywood Foreign Press 75th Annual GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor Well, I think we can all agree the 2018 Golden Globes was not the good time party we’re used to at this affair. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association celebrated their 75th year in the shadows of the sexual misconduct aftermath and the #Timesup women’s activism movement. Dakota Johnson Best Bling on Black & on Back The varying shades of black dresses, some with bling and spots of color – Allison Williams (Get Out) being my favorite, followed by Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades Trilogy), all made a statement and an elegant affair,…

Movie Blog Post: THE SHAPE OF WATER
Tinsel & Tine’s Look at THE SHAPE OF WATER By Le Anne Lindsay, Editor I stated in my End of the Year Wrap Up Post, that only very special movies, or special to me, would get a full post, and all other wide release films would be reviewed on my #MiniMovieReview page. It’s not yet the new year and already writer/producer/director Guillermo del Toro’s THE SHAPE OF WATER, with 7 Golden Globe Nominations, falls into the first category. “The Shape of Water” is a love story, espionage thriller and monster movie all rolled into one. Sally Hawkins plays a mute cleaning woman at a high-security government facility in early 1960s…
