The Philly Craft Beer Fest will showcase more than 50 of the best local and national craft breweries, serving 150 different beers! The Philly Craft Beer Festival, (MARCH 7, 2020) the event USA Today named one of the 10 Best Beer Festivals in the U.S., Forbes Traveler called one of the “Top 10 Beer Festivals in America,” and winner of Philly Beer Scene’s coveted “Best Beer Fest” award for three years in a row, is back again for another great celebration of craft beer and brewing. Scribe Video Center is now seeking Humanities & Production Facilitators! DEADLINE TO APPLY APRIL 3, 2020. We are presently seeking the assistance of humanities scholars and social scientists from the fields of history, urban studies, anthropology, folklore and sociology to work as facilitators on Precious Places. Production facilitators provide instruction to members of the community organization in the skills necessary to produce a short video, including production management and editing. Tatiana Bacchus, Owner/Senior Producer of Teaspoon & Pound Media, LLC, is an emerging independent filmmaker, who curates the ancestral wisdom of invisible characters by telling their untold stories. She’s a passionate, talented and terrific woman whom I’ve been lucky enough to get to know through our shared Philly Film/Artists Community. Teaspon and Pound Media, LLC has several projects underway. Two films at the forefront: Feature length documentary, Freedom Denied, which posthumously tells the story of Jean-Baptiste Edvard Pierre’s near decade-long battle for political asylum in the United States, as told by the attorneys and community activists who fought for his freedom.
