He’s right about Pizza: HECTOR AND THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor “We all want a-pe-nis” (trying to pronounce happiness) says the French woman in the film. Yes, there are times a penis makes both men and women very happy, but what is “Happiness” really? Such is the quest of Hector (Simon Pegg) in Hector and the Search for Happiness. Hector’s life from the outside looks pretty darn good, he’s got a lovely girlfriend Clara (Rosamund Pike). Pike is an actress that I really enjoy watching. I love that she doesn’t require any makeup and that she has this far away quality, while still adding substance to her characters. Look for her in the new David Fincher…

How Much is That Doggy in the Trash Can? – THE DROP
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor I became a Tom Hardy fan from his role in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (click for T&T post), which wasn’t a big role for him, but there was a sexy indolence about the way he played that character that caught my notice. Foodie Film: THE HUNDRED-FOOT JOURNEY
by Denine R. Gorniak, Contributor Far too many foodie movies have not yet been covered on Tinsel & Tine despite the fact they speak to my brand. I was about to miss another opportunity with The Hundred-Foot Journey, (Produced by Steven Spielberg & Oprah Winfrey) as I had conflicts with both screenings, but to the rescue, my foodie friend and fellow blogger Denine Gorniak – The Bicycle-Chef, covered the Prince Music Theater screening, which included a post panel discussion with Philly Chefs – Marc Summer and Marc Vetri, and as you’ll read, she did fabulous job! – Le Anne Lindsay, Editor The Hundred-Foot Journey Review The movie, The Hundred-…

Favorite Moments: BOYHOOD
How I wish I could have filmed the last 12-15 years of my life, because I swear it often feels like I've done nothing, barely enjoyed myself, have made no progress, can't think of a single anecdote to tell and the small significant moments of in-significances, just don't seem to be stored in my brain...
