Hairy Baby: BIG HERO 6
Disney's latest offering Big Hero 6 is loosely based on a Japanese-style comic strip. It features Hiro (voice of Ryan Potter), a 13 year-old genius who's already eligible for college, but thinks that's a waste of time, when he's already making big bank entering robot battle competitions with a seemingly innocuous floppy looking bot, which completely destroys the competition. Talk about a ringer!

A Movie in 3 Acts: GONE GIRL
The movie could use a little trim, and some may feel Flynn's book and screenplay jumps the shark a bit at some points, which is why I call it a movie in 3 Acts, but I gotta say, I liked it. The film on the whole is an interesting commentary on the media circus, public judgement and sway we've seen play out in these kinds of cases...
