At any rate, getting a last-minute surprise Wonder Woman 1984 screener link on the 22nd did make it fun, so my sister and I ordered our Indian food and set back to see what writer/director Patty Jenkins (co-writer Geoff Johns) decided Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) had been up to for the last several decades, and it seems she’s been keeping a low profile. The story centers around a young girl in China, Fei Fei (Cathy Ang ) whose mother loved to tell her stories of a Mythical Moon Goddess named Chang'e (Phillipa Soo) who pines for her one true love Houyi. I re-watched the very beginning when the myth is explained because I thought maybe I’d missed something as I don't understand why she took two immortality pills,one meant for Houyi;

HALF BROTHERS
The backstory involving their father’s journey and reasons for not having returned to Mexico is notable. It speaks to the tensions of the US/Mexico relationship and the dignity of immigrants. In many ways Half Brothers also celebrates and acknowledges the importance of telling stories of all races, not in as grand a manner, but in the perspective of Black Panther and Crazy Rich Asians.
