CCD RESTAURANT WEEK Returns with Increased Health and Safety Measures (9/13 – 9/25/2020)

Just reporting on Philly Foodie News: Center City District has decided to go ahead with their annual early Fall RESTAURANT WEEK – September 13 through 25, 2020 reformatted with increased health and safety protocols. More than 60 participating restaurants are working together with the CCD to create a safe experience so residents and visitors can support local businesses and keep local workers employed. Guests will as per previous years, enjoy three-course dinners for $35 per person, as well as $20 three-course lunches at participating locations (tax, gratuity and beverages are not included). Philly Craft Beer Festival
The Philly Craft Beer Fest will showcase more than 50 of the best local and national craft breweries, serving 150 different beers! The Philly Craft Beer Festival, (MARCH 7, 2020) the event USA Today named one of the 10 Best Beer Festivals in the U.S., Forbes Traveler called one of the “Top 10 Beer Festivals in America,” and winner of Philly Beer Scene’s coveted “Best Beer Fest” award for three years in a row, is back again for another great celebration of craft beer and brewing. Wine Dive is Philadelphia’s first-ever and only wine-focused dive bar and wine shop. Featuring 20 wines by the glass & campy cocktails. Center City Restaurant Week
From January 12 – 24, 2020, restaurants across Center City will offer three-course dinners for only $35* per person. In addition, many will also offer a three-course lunch for $20.* Some restaurants won’t be offering all meals on Saturday and Sunday. This will be clearly marked on their menus. Restaurant Week patrons can park for $9 or less at participating Philadelphia Parking Association and Philadelphia Parking Authority facilities from 4:45 p.m. to 1 a.m. by presenting a voucher from participating restaurants. Introducing a.kiosk, the first-ever kiosk concierge service from a newsstand
by Le Anne Linday, Editor The global luxury hotel residences AKA Rittenhouse Square (located at the corner of 18th and Walnut Streets) launched the first-ever kiosk concierge service from the sidewalk newsstand. What does this mean? Residents staying at AKA Rittenhouse Square (which just underwent an extensive renovation with refreshed interiors) can now indulge in newsstand candy bars and drinks by contacting the front desk. The charge will be applied to the bill, and the doormen will deliver the goods.
