Montauk, NY (Memorial Weekend 2011)
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor Me with a Mojito at Surf Lodge. Don’t know the dog’s name but let’s call him Mojito too! For me, it’s more important to have plans for the Memorial Weekend than New Year’s Eve. Although, I whine and cry and rail my fist to the heavens if I find myself home alone for either occasion. Thank goodness this year a friend made it possible to weekend in Montauk. They’re awesome by themselves but when you top them with the sour cream and diced fried onions… sheer enjoyment! 3 Tines/4 Tines for short rib pierogi. Next time I’m back in this area of NYC, I’m going to go for the Lamb & Feta burger w/ roasted red pepper relish. The Veselka Cookbook seems like a very good Christmas gift…

Flying Saucer Cafe
... and so a discussion that was to be about food in film turned into sex in film, it's the same to me as I see good food as wildly erotic, decadent, irresistible and so satisfying ....
