Photo credit: Hugh E Dillon Earlier this month the Turner Classic Movies’ “Road to Hollywood” tour came to Philly (Prince Theater) and brought along legendary actress Eva Marie Saint, the actress best known for her sexy spy role, playing opposite Cary Grant in Alfred Hitchcock’s suspense classic – North By Northwest. The 10-city tour is part of a campaign to promote the vintage film network’s annual TCM Classic Film Festival (April 12-15). Although I had trouble becoming engaged for the first 30 minutes or so of the film; by the end I was taken in by the zen outlook of the endeavor. I was also quite taken with that charming Sheik. For a man like that, I might consider being wife number 10 or 11.

My screening of This Means War was courtesy of and reviewed for Cinedelphia Take a little True Lies, mix in a dash of Mr. & Mrs Smith, add a touch of Ocean’s Eleven and then half-bake and you’ve got a mildly entertaining, McG romantic, spy comedy. This Means War stars Reese Witherspoon as the lucky lady being courted by two super cute spies. Of course Reese’s character, Lauren thinks she’s just dating two super cute guys.
