POST UPDATE 1/16/15:
I DID IT! First time on live radio. Of course anal me had made lots of notes, but after I got into the rhythm of things I was able to start winging it and join in the banter. Le Anne Lindsay is now officially known as BUTTERCAKE TRIBBLE.
The Black Tribbles are AWESOME! It’s obvious they love each other and the show. They made me and Diane feel very welcome and at ease. Yup Illustrator/Draw-tographer @DianeRoka (now also known as Sketch Ninja Tribble) accompanied me to the taping, both for moral support and to draw these super cool avatars of each of the Black Tribbles.
During the show we got into: Treasured possessions; What we love to do when we’re not Blogging/Tribbling (besides sex); Billy Dee Willams/Lando Calrissia; Avengers: Age of Ultron: The Scarlet Witch, Iron Man’s Hulk Busting Suit, James Spaders creepy voice of Ultron; Jupiter Ascending, The Peanuts Movie, Ant Man and more….

So excited about @BlackTribbles Ep 172 cause I’ll be in the studio! Gonna turn the tables on BT and interview this crazy bunch of self proclaimed Black Geeks. We’ll discuss, among other stuff, all the exciting Marvel Universe & Sci-Fi movies coming out in 2015!
Feel free to send me your questions for The Black Tribbles and I’ll give you on air credit if I use the question.
We’ll be broadcasting live from G-Town Radio on Thursday, January 15, 2015 TUNE IN from 9pm – 11pm (blacktribbles.com)
Not familiar with Black Tribbles? They’ve built up quite an audience since starting the live show in 2011. They can also be found through several podcast outlets, as well as Youtube. The group consists of Len Webb aka Bat Tribble, Erik Darden aka Master Tribble, Kennedy Allen aka Tribble Storm, Randy Green aka Super Tribble and Jason Richardson Spider Tribble. Yes, you guessed it, their name comes from the classic Star Trek episode, “The Trouble with Tribbles”, cute, little, fuzzy alien critters who had a habit of multiplying very quickly.
“I was a little worried people would think it was a strictly ‘Star Trek’ show,” says Len, the show’s producer, “but I knew I didn’t want ‘geek’ or ‘nerd’ in the title. A tribble is this round furry thing that’s so cute you want to hug it, but it’s still cool.”
