Yes Black Label ComiCon in Philly is on a come back after the pandemic in 2020. It has been hard on many Comic Book Conventions around the country. To get back on track and to keep things lively we have decided to go forward with Black Label ComiCon 2 on Aug 14, 2021 at the Hampton Inn Hotel next to the Philadelphia Convention Center. It was a hard decision and the unknown is upon this convention, but we are willing to take a chance and to ask for funding to accommodate the talent that will be at this 2nd show.
To give you some history on Black Label ComiCon; it was started by the founder Eric M. Cooper on Aug 2019. Eric felt that Black Label ComiCon should be unique in its approach and to resemble part of the Black Wall Street Era of history back in the early 1900’s. This era was about Black Owned business and to share the resources of that community. Black Label ComiCon is unique to having only Independent Artists and Writers at this convention to sell and promote their own individual properties.
