Everyone had an epiphany type moment during the COVID Lockdown of 2020.  The slow down made us reorganize our priorities and do a Marie Kondo look at what sparks joy! What I realized is as much as I LOVE to eat and discover restaurants and foodie pleasures.  I’ve never actually been fully engaged with the “Tine” (tines of a fork) part of Tinsel and Tine.  When I started the site in 2010 it was going to be a place where I go to dinner and a movie and review both in a post. For various reasons that never really worked out; so I thought I could split the difference and write/cover some foodie posts and some movie posts. MOVIE NIGHT MENUS

I've seen The Philadelphia Story close to a dozen times, so it's funny that I don't remember the Stingers or Uncle Willy referring to them as "a formula that's said to pop the pennies off the eyelids of dead Irishmen." But I'll be looking out for this scene next time.  Maybe I'll even try stirring up this mint and brandy concoction, although it doesn't sound like a very appealing mix.

THE HADLEY on the Parkway

Received an invitation to The Hadley Restaurant to try their brunch menu and create a "Tine" post. This new dining spot opened just a little before the holidays on The Ben Franklin Parkway as part of Park Towne Place East Tower. It's a wonderful extension to the Park Towne Resident's living rooms; however, The Hadley is completely open to the public.
