Movie Blog Post: Alice Through the Looking Glass | Captain America: Civil War | X-men: Apocalypse

    May 29, 2016 /

Even Alice (Mia Wasikowska) who fervently believes in 6 impossible things before breakfast, knows that time has the final say on death and can't get behind her friend the Hatter's (Johnny Depp) notion that his family, the hat making Hightopps, [of which he was estranged, being the black, rather colorful sheep of the family] could still be found or brought back...

Win FARMER’S PANTRY CORNBREAD CRISPS Multi-Pack

    May 18, 2016 /

ENTER TO WIN A SAMPLE MULTI-PACK OF FARMER’S PANTRY CORNBREAD CRISPS I was sent a sample multi-pack of Farmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps in both original and jalapeño flavor, both the regular and snack size bags, to bring to the movies for T&T’s trademark #CinemaSneaknSnack, but I’m opening a bag all the time. Now I’m serious when I say, these Farmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps have created a new order – it’s still Cheez-it in the lead, but Cornbread Crisps are a very close 2nd and then Doritos. Best of all, these…

    A BIGGER SPLASH

    May 16, 2016 /

by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor I was really happy with both the movies that opened this past weekend Luca Guadagnino “A Bigger Splash” and Jodie Foster’s “Money Monster” (See separate post). A Bigger Splash stars one of the most fascinating creatures in Hollywood, Tilda Swinton  who also appeared in Guadagnino’s 2010 foodie film I Am Love (click for T&T post).  In A Bigger Splash Swinton plays Marianne Lane a famous female glam rock personality recovering from throat surgery. She not only can’t speak above a whisper, she’s been told to refrain from speaking while her vocal chords heal. What better place to recuperate than on a beautiful Mediterranean Island called…
