COUCH FEST is Coming to Philadelphia, and 35 other Cities Around the World – December 6th
POST UPDATE 12/9/14: Le Anne Lindsay & Nicole Ayers Attended Couch Fest last Saturday, and met the Philly host Nicole Ayers in person, as our interview (see original post below) had been conducted online. As it’s my dream to one day be on a film festival jury panel, I enjoyed voting on the 16 shorts screened; however, I wish there had been a little more time in between films to really process my thoughts on each one. My favorite: Mit besten Grussen (With Best Regards) (Germany 5 min) | Filmmaker: Bernhard Wenger A woman desperate to meet her crush takes her coworker’s advice to “gently” damage his car and…

A Revlock Review: HORRIBLE BOSSES 2
Tinsel & Tine is normally rah-rah on most movies, but these last 3 we’ve highlighted have not been given our full support. I was fascinated with the subjects of The Theory of Everything (click for T&T post) but not so much with the movie itself. I watch The Hunger Games movies (click for T&T post), but at the same time, can’t really get behind the franchise. The original Horrible…

In other words, she has the presence to carry off a movie that’s mostly production and atmosphere. I mean, I get the creativity behind Suzanne Collins’ Dystopian world, brought to life by directors Gary Ross and then Francis Lawrence. And…

Love, Sacrifice and Black Holes: THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor My first thought, well not first, but second or third thought after seeing The Theory of Everything was – how could someone all crippled up with ALS, who can’t even feed himself, have a better sex life than me!?! Stephen Hawking’s, (Sheldon Cooper’s idol for any Big Bang Theory fans) life is proof that our sheer mental will, along with the love of a good woman, can work miracles. Diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS) after tripping through the ivory courtyards of Cambridge University; Hawking, played with great honesty by Eddie Redmayne, is told he has this degenerative motor neurons affliction and is given 2…
