POST UPDATE 8/22/14:  So happy we didn’t get rained out of Diner en Blanc last night!  The evening was perfection. A visual feast for the eyes and our real feast  Garces picnic dinner  was delightful. But most importantly, my dress by Tulip Clothing Line was a hit!

I know everyone says they guessed the location, but I really did say to a couple of people that they’ll probably do it on Broad Street; and it was quite a spectacle to see hundreds of tablescapes in the middle of the Avenue of the Arts from Chestnut Street to Spruce Street with City Hall as our backdrop.

One of the ladies near my table, Kim Sogioka had been challenged to take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Awareness Campaign, so she decided to just do it during Diner en Blanc, I’m proud to say, using my ice bucket.
